Individual Counseling for Adults
Individual therapy is designed to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that shape your experiences. Many clients come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or aware that something isn’t working, but unsure how to change it.
Often, these challenges are connected to earlier experiences, relationship dynamics, or long-standing ways of coping that once made sense but no longer serve you in the same way.
In our work together, we focus on building clarity around what’s happening internally and relationally—so you can respond more intentionally rather than feeling caught in automatic patterns.
There is also space in this work for humor and lightness when it fits—because even in the midst of difficult experiences, those moments can help create movement and perspective.
Discernment Counseling
Discernment counseling is designed for couples who are uncertain about whether to continue their relationship or move toward separation. This short-term, structured process (1 - 5 sessions) helps each partner gain clarity about their perspective while creating space to understand the dynamics of the relationship more deeply.
The goal is not to "fix" the relationship immediately, but to help both partners decide if they want to work on the relationship and move forward with greater understanding and confidence in their decision.
